Alison Doody
Alison Doody was born in Dublin, the Republic of Ireland, on the 11th of November 1996. The model is and an Irish actress. Her debut came in the Bond film called A View to a Kill in the year 1985. She starred in 1989 as the archaeologist who was sympathetic to Nazis Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan Donavan played the role featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte was in Taffin (in the year 1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody began modelling after being approached by an experienced photographer. This led to a successful modeling career in the commercial world. Doody was averse to glamour and nude modeling, which that was carried into her acting. She was cast in a minor role as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that she was noticed by the director of casting. Doody was named as one of 12 Promising New Actors from 1986 in John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. Doody was just 18 when she made her debut in the Bond character. As of today Doody is considered to be the youngest Bond girl. A Prayer for the Dying (1997) which starred Mickey Rourke, also featured an unimportant role in the form of IRA Siobhan. Doody had an unspoken role in the film as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias during the film adaptation of his fantasy, 1987's version to The Secret Garden. The Storyteller episode from 1988 included her in the leading part in the film Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. Her first appearance was in the film Taffin with Pierce Brosnan. Next, she played the role of Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist, Nazi-sympathizer, and antagonist to Harrison Ford. In the film, she also appeared alongside Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody was a part of three actors that have played James Bond. Doody was a part of Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries which was a British mini-series based on Hitler Diaries. Doody then relocated to Hollywood. The decision was made to replace Cybill Shepard as L'Oreal spokeswoman and went on to star opposite Charlie Sheen as Flannery, his girlfriend and agent as Flannery's girlfriend and agent in Major League II. Doody's first appearance on the screen was in 2003 when Michael Caine played Doody in an uncredited role. Her roles include the TV film version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004, a booklet about the Holocaust as well as a short film called Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody was a part-time actress in Danny Dyer's film The Rapture (2010). In the following year, she was a guest on RTE's the medical drama The Clinic. She was supposed to play the lead role in the remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx. However, that project eventually stalled. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014 she appeared in We Still Kill the Old Way. In November 2018 she received the Almeria tierra de Cine Award and was awarded a Star on Almeria's Walk of Fame.
